Platte River Power Authority, or PRPA, previously scheduled drone and low-flying helicopter flights to scan transmission line structures for the week of March 11. The drone flights were conducted by the helicopter flight was rescheduled.
PRPA scheduled the flights to collect data for engineering designs and asset management.
The low-flying helicopter flight has been rescheduled for Thursday and Friday, provided weather conditions are favorable. The flights will take place in Fort Collins, Longmont and Loveland. A specific time has not been determined.
