The Sierra Club sent a questionnaire to all the candidate running for a Longmont City Council seat in 2019. Additionally, the club tracked the views stated by each candidate and their votes (if applicable) on the environment.
The Sierra Club announced on Thursday, September 19 that "the following candidates have, in the Sierra Club’s estimation, the most earnest commitment to sustainability concerns. They also have a capacity to work cooperatively with others on council to achieve environmental goals while applying environmental justice objectives."
