LONGMONT, CO – Cute meets calm at Bunny Yoga, a heartwarming event taking place at Full Circle Yoga on Friday, July 12 at 11:00 AM. This highly anticipated, sold-out class is a beloved fundraiser for Rocky Mountain House Rabbit Rescue, a non-profit shelter located in Erie, Colorado.
During the event, participants will move through a playful, hour-long, all-levels yoga class while adoptable bunnies from the rescue hop freely around the yoga room, interacting with attendees on their mats. Bunny Yoga is sure to be an uplifting and joyful experience that brings lagomorph lovers and yoga enthusiasts together in support of a great cause (lagomorphs are the animal group that includes rabbits and their relatives).
The event is a labor of love for John Espinosa, owner of Full Circle Yoga, a passionate bunny advocate, and the teacher of the Bunny Yoga class. He began volunteering with Rocky Mountain House Rabbit Rescue in 2013 and started partnering with the shelter in 2016 to offer Bunny Yoga as a creative fundraiser. This July marks the 16th Bunny Yoga event hosted at the studio, which has raised over $12,000 in support of the shelter.
Proceeds from the event will go directly to help feed, shelter, and provide medical care for rabbits currently in the rescue’s care. Bunny Yoga has become one of Full Circle Yoga’s most adored and in-demand events, and tickets sold out quickly once again this year.
