The St. Vrain Valley School Board meeting was canceled for August 15, 2018.
No reason was given on the school district's website for why it was canceled. The website did state that, "this Meeting was cancelled by the Board of Education President."
The August 15 meeting was scheduled as a study session. Study sessions are opportunities for the school board to learn about happenings in the school district and to ask important questions to staff. Staff then returns at another date, usually the school board regular meeting with a full presentation on the topic. No decisions are made by the school board during study sessions.
The next regular school board meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 22, 2018.
