It has long been a tradition to celebrate the first baby born in the new year. This year UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital welcomed Colm William Pruett as their first baby born in 2020.
Colm Pruett is the son of Emily Gibson and Michael Pruett of Longmont. He weighed 6 pounds 9 ounces and was measured to be 19.5 inches long. He arrived at 4:07 a.m.
Colm's parents were gifted with a wagon full of "baby goodies" by birth center providers, hospital staff, and the Longs Peak Hospital Foundation. The wagon included stuffed animals, clothing, blankets, diapers and wipes.
