Virtual meeting to discuss mental-health supports

BOULDER COUNTY COMMUNITY SERVICES

Boulder County Community Services Department’s Behavioral Health Roadmap team invites community members to join a virtual meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 17,  from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. via Zoom platform. This community meeting will be centered around decolonizing mental health, liberatory practices and community care, and how this work connects to the Behavioral Health Roadmap.

This meeting will include a keynote speech by Dr. Travis Heath who will then facilitate a panel with community organizations on mental health, liberatory practices, and community care. Dr. Travis Heath is a licensed psychologist, Associate Professor at San Diego State University and Chair of the Department of Counseling & School Psychology, author, and TED Talk speaker. View Dr. Travis' Ted Talk, "Self Care to Communities of Care" on YouTube for more information about the keynote speaker. All voices are welcome and encouraged at this event.
