Boulder County should start seeing changes as soon as this week

Fall leaves along the Front Range

The days are getting shorter and already a few leaves are turning color. In the coming weeks, the forests will turn into a painter's pallet of color. 

Denver's Pinpoint Weather team released a forecasted when and where the best fall leaf colors can be seen. 

Sept. 18-Oct. 2:

Rocky Mountain National Park, Steamboat Springs, Flat Tops

Sept. 21-Oct. 6:

Vail, Summit County, Aspen, Gunnison, Grand Mesa

Sept. 24-Oct. 12:

San Juan Mountains, Sangre De Cristo Mountains

October:

Denver area

The news station also stated that changing in the weather could change the timing of the color changes.
