The Boulder Police Department arrested Molly Tucker, 28, on Monday night after five hit and run incidents were reported between 4:50 p.m. and 5:43 p.m. that evening. Tucker was booked into jail Monday evening and bonded out Tuesday morning. She has been charged with five counts of failure to present evidence of insurance, four counts of reckless driving, four counts of failing to remain at the scene after damaging another vehicle, and driving a vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol or both.

The vehicle was a blue 2015 Hyundai Sonata with Texas plates. The police department is seeking additional victims who may have been impacted by the reckless driver. The suspect hit a parked truck and minutes later struck a moving vehicle near 14th Street and Walnut Street. Officers attempted to find the suspect after these incidents, but were unable to find the vehicle.

Then, the blue Sonata struck a vehicle stopped at the traffic light at Arapahoe and Folsom. Eight minutes after that incident, the Sonata struck a vehicle at the traffic light at Canyon and 15th. Finally, a citizen called emergency services to report that the suspect ran a stop sign and collided with a vehicle at the intersection of Canyon and 4th.

The police department is asking the public for more information if anyone had a vehicle struck during this time period and area on Monday. Those with information are encouraged to call Joe Fischer, the crash investigations specialist, at (303) 503-0406 or [email protected] regarding case 25-04612.
