Longmont city government observes the Christmas holiday on Tuesday, December 25. All City facilities will be closed. Trash, recycling and composting collection will be one day later than usual following the holiday.

Roosevelt Park is festooned with lights these days, brightening the dark winter sky for scores of ice skaters revolving around the rink. The sun set on Friday, December 21 st at 4:38 pm.

THEFT The employee of a Longmont business reported a theft in the 200 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard. This case is open. THEFT On Friday, 12/21/18, a report was taken in reference to a theft which occurred in the 2500 block of Main Street.

This past Thursday evening, I attended the dress rehearsal of the 18th annual performance of The Nutcracker by the Centennial State Ballet.

FDC/CRIM TRESPASS A Longmont resident in the 3200 block of Lake Park Way reported a theft from her vehicle. The case status is closed due to lack of suspect information.
