Anders Mundhenke was born in Louisville Colorado the youngest of five children. He was the beloved baby of the family, doted on by three older sisters and one brother. He loved aviation and birds and aspired to be an Aerospace Engineer, finishing one semester at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University before his cancer diagnosis at the beginning of 2020. He enjoyed many sports, but his early love was soccer and later he found his passion in tennis.
Anders was peace loving from birth, avoided conflicts, and strove to do “the right thing.” He was selfless, compassionate, and kind. He loved having the family gathered for holidays, particularly on Christmas.
Knowing of his impending death, his desire was to leave a remembrance to his current and any future nieces and nephews. He created a photo book and left these instructions:

Getting to heaven is most important
Little things matter- say “good morning”, say “please”, say “thank you.” (St Therese’s little way)
Be kind
Tell the truth
Share with others
Pick friends who are a good influence.
He concluded “Family: where life begins and love never ends.”

Donations in Anders’ name for the repose of his soul can be made to Domus Pacis Family Respite (https://www.domuspacis.org/) or Gabriel House (https://ccdenver.org/gabriel-house/)
