December 20, 1948 - March 3, 2024

Angela M Pfannenstiel born to Juan E Medina (deceased 1994) and Ida Padilla Medina (deceased 1957) at home in La Sierra Mountains on December 20th, 1948.

She has 3 living siblings and their families- Juan B (Viola) Medina, Mary (Dave) Medina Sanchez, Jerry (Lola) Medina. She has many half and step siblings from her father’s later marriage. She was raised by her aunt Lily Jaramillo (deceased 1998) who sent her to Menaul Private School in Albuquerque. She moved back to Holman and later met Ernest R Lujan (deceased 1986). They had Brian P Lujan (deceased 2021) and moved to Denver to later have Pamela D Lujan. She married Ronald Pfannenstiel and spent the next 34 years in love and lost in travel.

They lived in 7 different countries and spent many years traveling the states as well. Ron and Angela always maintained a home in Denver and built a custom cabin on Indian Mountain in Jefferson, CO. After many years of enjoyment they decided to retire and settle in Kalispell, Montana. Unfortunately that was cut short when Brian became ill. Ron and Angela travelled back and settled in Johnstown, CO to care for Brian. Through it all she helped raise her granddaughter, Ashley. Angela got to watch Ashley fall in love, marry and start her family with Edgar Farias and adored her great grand daughter, Xiomara. She had some medical battles and after the death of Brian she never truly recovered.

As a family we have found peace that they are once again together. Angela passed on March 3rd, 2024 surrounded by love from her husband Ron, daughter Pam and granddaughter Ashley. She has requested no service so in lieu of flowers the family asks you to make a donation to the Banner Cancer Center at NCMC in Greeley, CO.
