JUNE 26, 1963 – MAY 3, 2021

Brenda Marie Fahrenholtz, age 57 passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021. Brenda was born June 26, 1963 in Litchfield, Minnesota to Roy W. Burress and Irene E. (Oldenburg) Burress. The family made their home in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, with a move to Austin, Minnesota for grade school through high school. Following a move to Longmont, Colorado in 1983 Brenda met Brian and in 1987 the two were wed, until 2018 when they divorced.

Brenda made her career in hospital admissions for over 25 years and it wasn’t until March of 2018 that she began her retirement. She was a member of the Lutheran church and the Lady Bugs and although these meant a lot to her, her children and grandchildren were the focus of her life. You could often find Brenda playing cards, shopping, or finding new ways to spoil all of the people she loved, this brought her much joy over the years.

In 2000 Brenda, Brian and son, Tyler, moved to Arizona where she spent the next 18 years making memories and tons of friends. Brenda was so good hearted and gentle spirited. She would’ve given the shirt off her back to anyone in need. She spoiled her kids and grandkids to a fault, they never wanted for anything when she was around. Or even when she wasn’t nearby. She loved the people she worked with at the hospital over the years and they loved her right back. She made an impression everywhere she went, she was the most beautiful lady on the outside, but more importantly beautiful on the inside. She loved her family more than anything.

Brenda moved back to Colorado from Arizona in 2018 to help her mother when her father had just been put on hospice. She laid next to him in the recliner many nights because, not only was she an amazing mother; but also an amazing daughter. There are stories galore and we would love to hear some of them from all of you. Brenda will be missed deeply, but the impression she made will never be forgotten. Someone once told me, over time, you may forget what someone said or did, but you will never forget the way they made you feel, and this is Brenda to a T. She will never be forgotten and forever be missed.

Brenda is preceded in death by her father Roy Burress and her brother Brian Burress. She is survived by her mother Irene Burress, daughter Anna Marie (Fahrenholtz) Maurice, son Tyler Beau (Ashley) Fahrenholtz, grandchildren Mackinzie Rae, Andreu and Dominic, and her dog & best friend forever Bella.

A visitation and funeral service will be held, Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Our Savior’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Longmont, Colorado. Visitation at 10:00am, Funeral Service at 11:00am following the visitation.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Irene E. Burress to assist with Brenda’s funeral costs.
