AUGUST 19, 1954 – NOVEMBER 24, 2020

Deb Hartley, 66, was born in Lexington, Nebraska, to Orey and Bernice Puls on August 19, 1954. She passed away peacefully at her home in Greeley, Colorado on November 24, 2020.

Shortly after graduating from Loveland High School in 1972, Deb began the love of raising her children. Once her children were older, she went to work at the Loveland Garden Center where she met Dennis. She continued to work there for many years creating her love for horticulture. She later finished her working career at King Soopers, where she retired in 2019.

Amongst the many things she loved were hummingbirds, nature, and her family. She cherished every moment of her life with her husband, Dennis Hartley, of 18 years; her daughter Jennifer Land; son Jason Land; daughter-in-law Jen Land; Nikki Hartley; and her grandchildren Dylon Duran, Austin Duran, Colton Duran, Katie Land, Garret Land and Cody Hartley.

There are not enough words to express Deb's positive impact she made on everyone; she always had a smile on her face, and spread her positivity in everything she did. Not only was Deb a role model to many, her strength planted a seed for others to grow. A lot like hummingbirds sipping nectar from every flower, Deb spread her wings and never let anything get her down. Her love for life and advice that she gave others was so powerful. She always made the best in her walk on earth with new adventures everyday.

Deb was always there for her family; they were her entire world. She treasured her life with Dennis and always made time to spend with her children and grandchildren.

With her love for baseball, Dennis and Deb took many trips to Arizona to enjoy spring training along with visiting family. These trips gave her a special love and appreciation of the desert. It then became one of her happy places.

Although Deb is not here making footprints in the sand, her legacy and impacts will live on forever while she spreads her angel wings and flies with the hummingbirds. Her memories will last a lifetime, and she will always be in the heart of everyone that she touched.
