OCTOBER 24, 1953 – JANUARY 15, 2021
Francis "Jr. Boy" Nali’imoku Holokahi, Jr. passed away suddenly in Longmont, CO on Friday, January 15, 2021; breaking the hearts of his loving family and friends. He was 67 years old.
Francis was born on October 24, 1953 in Honolulu, HI to Francis Nali’imoku, Sr. and Janice K. Kaaekuahiwi. He grew up in Hawaii, graduating from Waianae High School, and afterward, joined the United States Army. He moved to Longmont near the end of 2019, from Las Vegas, NV.
Francis was the proud father of six beautiful children and the grandfather to five adorable grandchildren. He loved them all so dearly. He was proud of his service to his country and proud to see three of his children follow in his footsteps and serve their country, as well.
Francis was ready for all that life had to offer. He enjoyed outdoor events and being a waterman fishing. He liked to swim. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make his friends and family laugh. He was all about spreading love and aloha. Most of all, Francis loved his family and loved spending time with all of them. His time on this earth was too short and his passing causes a great sadness for the family he leaves behind.
Francis was deeply loved and he will be greatly missed.
Francis was preceded in death by his father, Francis, Sr.; his daughter, Faith Alohalani Holokahi; and his sister, Faith K. Holokahi. He is survived by his mother, Janice of Honolulu; his sisters, Francine K. Holokahi and Fortunette K. Holokahi; his only son, Joseph Moses Nali’imoku Peters-Holokahi of Waianae, HI; his daughters, Francinette Pomaika’i Holokahi of Frederick, CO, Hope Aloha O. Kuuhome Holokahi of Honolulu, Stacey Maialoha Holokahi of Honolulu, and Eliaza Keahi Holokahi-Williams, who is stationed in Baumholder, Germany; his grandchildren, Damien Holokahi-Jale, Tyrie Holokahi-Wilkinson, Tracey Holokahi-Monterde, Rylee Ogdon, and David Kalakaua Holokahi Hokoana-Matthews; and by the mother of his children, Josephine Peters-Holokahi.
Francis’ children will privately mourn the loss of their father in Longmont, CO. He will be taken home to Hawaii and laid to rest at a later date. Please visit www.ahlbergfuneralchapel.com to share a memory of Francis and leave a message for his family.
