Lamoine Arnold Pearson, age 89 passed away peacefully October 2, 2022. He was born September 7,1933 in Farlington, Kansas. He was a longtime resident of Loveland, Colorado.

He is survived by his loving wife Ruth, one sister Evie (Jim) Chaddic, one sister-in-law Violet (Roy) McCain two children Cindy Pearson, Gary (Brenda) Pearson, two grand-daughters Kylie Slade, and Lauren (Cody Bowman), four great-grandchildren, Kami and Ian Saldana, Lake and Wave Bowman. One niece Penny (Chuck) Myers, four nephews, Steve Stafford, Gregg Chaddic, Jeff McCain, Curtis (Heather) McCain, and many other loving relatives.

Lamoine attended a one room schoolhouse through the 8th grade. He went on to a boarding high school in Enterprise Kansas where he graduated in 1951.  He attended Union College in Lincoln Nebraska where he graduated with a BS in Business Administration and where he met the love of his life for 69 years, Ruth Wagner.

Lamoine and Ruth were married in Torrington Wyoming on June 7, 1953.  After graduation he was drafted into the U.S. Army and served for two years.  They established Pearson Masonry Company in 1962, his craftsmanship is found all over Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming. The company continues to operate as a family business by Gary and Cody Bowman.

Lamoine had an unwavering faith in God, He was a lifetime member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. He was very involved with Maranatha Volunteers Int'l, serving as a supervisor on masonry projects in South America, Central America, India, and the Galapagos Islands. He enjoyed skiing, water-skiing, photography, and gardening.

Lamoine was preceded in death by his parents Arnold and Irma Pearson, sister Ramona Stafford, grandson Evan Pearson, nephew Jeff Chaddic.

A funeral service will be held at Campion Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 300 42nd Street SW, Loveland, Colorado on Saturday, October 8, at 4:00 p.m. Viewing will begin at 3:00 p.m. You may greet family and friends at a reception following the service.

Memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to Maranatha Volunteers International (maranatha.org) or Campion Seventh-day Adventist Church.
