December 23, 1961 ~ March 13, 2023 (age 61)

Shortly after visiting with his daughter Crystal & son Brian,
Lance left his worn out body to be with his Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday Evening March 13th at his home in Longmont.
Stan, our father, was by his side holding his hand the moment Lance left to be with Jesus.
Praise the Lord!!!

Lance’s Choice to Keep His Seeds:
During his last month in Hospice Care, Lance would often tell others that if God presented him with two options from which he was to choose from,
One being that he could go back in time and have his very healthy body from several years ago when he was training under the guidance of Brooke, the daughter of his dear friend Robin.
His other choice was to have everything remain the same as it is. Meaning: In his current situation of dying from an extremely rare form of cancer.

Lance’s enthusiastic decision was:
“I wouldn’t change a thing, I am keeping all my seeds!”
Then he would often add:
“Excluding all the throwing-up, I could do without that!”
He would then breakout laughing… Lance’s loud laugh!!!

This past year while Lance was extremely ill, he was a constant Warrior for Jesus Christ, spreading his “Seeds of Faith” anywhere he went, and with almost everyone he came into contact with.
Keep the Seeds!!!

Lance’s Faith Packs!
Lance had a very special place in his heart for the Homeless and never went anywhere without his Faith Packs, which consisted of one of his small wooden crosses, his John 3:16 card and either $5 or $10.
Whenever you rode or drove with him, there was often detours made for him to hand out a Faith Pack to anyone he thought was in need of one, which must have been by the hundreds!
He would give them out with just his simple “God Bless You”.

Calvary Chapel of Longmont:
Lance was a Member of the Calvary Chapel of Longmont led by his good friend & Pastor Michael Patrick. Everyone there was very special to Lance and were his extended family.
The photo of Lance (above) is his Calvary Chapel Church photo that was taken September 25, 2022 only 3 days before his 1st chemo treatment.

Private Lifestyle:
Lance was very guarded about much of his personal life as well as the various medical conditions he went through, which is why most all of you had no clue what has been happening to him over this past year leading up to his death. Just want you all to know that it was nothing personal towards anyone, it was just the way Lance wanted this to play out.

Support a Great Cause in Honor of Lance!
Lance previously made contributions to this cause, and our family, on behalf of Lance, decided this is the one incredible program that needs our help, and would be honored if you could make any contributions on Lance’s behalf to keep this program going!

"Rashel & Mandy Felton Memorial Fundraiser" benefiting Rhythm of the Horse Therapeutic Riding. This fundraiser supports horse riders with special needs (wheel chair and autistic kids, etc.) The results are amazing and come with a long and amazing story.
Every dollar makes a tremendous difference to keep this program alive.
