Lorraine Hildegarde Kee, 90, of Longmont, Colorado, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. Born in Kevin, Montana to Charles and Bertha Kiesser, she was the youngest of five children. She grew up on a wheat farm assisting her family with the chores. After high school, Lorraine joined her sisters in Spokane, Washington where she worked in a typing pool for an Insurance company. She met and married William (Bill) Kee from South Carolina, on October 13, 1951. With Bill in the Air Force, they moved to Topeka, Kansas where Willa was born then back to Spokane, Washington where Ron and LaDon were born. Then, they moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where Anita was born. In 1962 they moved to Hygiene, Colorado.

Two years later they moved to Broomfield living there for 33 years. In 1997 they moved to Longmont where they resided for 23 years. In 2016, after 64 years of marriage, Bill passed away. Lorraine was an exceptional homemaker and a skilled seamstress. She made bridesmaid and wedding dresses, baptismal and choir robes, Missionette uniforms, beautiful clothing for her children and grandchildren, and more. She served as secretary of the Mile High Water Company for 26 years and was honored with a plaque for her service. One of her greatest passions was to serve people. She served in her church and volunteered at the OUR center in Longmont for many years. She and Bill prayerfully and financially supported numerous missions and outreach organizations. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and one brother. She is survived by one brother Charles Kiesser Jr., (100 years). She is also survived by two sons; Ron Kee (Dixie) and LaDon Kee (Patty), two daughters; Willa Pendleton (Wayne) and Anita Humphreys (Randy), twelve grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at LifeBridge Christian Church, 10345 Ute Hwy on Wednesday, January 13, at 11:00; a live stream of the service can be viewed at www.ckpmediaservices.com/live. Following the service, the family will be available to greet you. There will not be a meal due to Covid restrictions. The graveside service will take place at Foothills Gardens of Memory on Hwy 287.
