Lynda P. Hartman (Sloan), 77, of Broomfield, CO, left this earth and went to her heavenly home on May 16, 2022. Born February 23, 1945, in Grundy, Virginia, Lynda was the oldest of 6 children born to Paul and Helen Sloan. She married Lenny Hartman in Akron in 1966.

In 1980, Lynda and her family moved to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, where they lived for 32 years. She loved the beach, the warmer climate and was happy to leave the cold winters of Ohio.

Lynda was a consummate insurance professional who worked her way up to a vice president level and experienced tremendous success in her career.  She valued hard work and was well respected by her colleagues and clients. Shortly after her retirement, Lynda and Lenny moved to Broomfield, CO, to be near their son and his family. Affectionately called “Nana’ by her grandchildren, Lynda was always available to her family and will be greatly missed.

Lynda was always willing to help others, was extremely compassionate and gave generously from her heart. She enjoyed reading, traveling and long conversations with friends, and was always looking for ways to help and encourage others. Her generosity and desire to help others will be remembered forever.

Lynda was preceded in death by her husband Lenny and sister Lori. She is survived by her son Brent Hartman (Joy) of Broomfield, CO; grandchildren Luke, AJ and Kara Hartman of Broomfield CO; brothers William Sloan (Linda) of Fairlawn, OH, Robert Sloan (Carol) of Roseville, CA, and Michael Sloan of Akron, OH; and sister Lesa Maconachy (Rick) of Akron, OH. Arrangements entrusted to Rundus Funeral Home
