April 06, 1988 - June 09, 2021

Margaret “Maggie” Louise (Munson) Reinholtz gracefully fought cancer for nearly two years; but her courageous battle ended on June 9th, 2021.  She died peacefully at home, surrounded by her family and her beloved dogs, Jacob and Odin.

Maggie grew up in Highlands Ranch, Colorado where she attended Mountain Vista High School and was an accomplished violinist.  She went on to graduate with a Business degree from Colorado State University in Fort Collins where she met her soon-to-be husband Mark Reinholtz.  They married just two weeks after her graduation on May 29th, 2010 and later began residence in Loveland, Colorado.  With her incredible organizational skills, Maggie began working as an event planner at Interweave Press, where she arranged fiber art and mixed media events across the country.  She continued working the job that she loved until she gave birth to twins Wyatt James and Adeline Kay on May 24th, 2016.

Although Maggie became a full-time mom to the twins, she continued to occasionally work as a day-of wedding planner and planned several local fundraising events.  She also became involved with the Multiples Group of Northern Colorado.  She loved horses, music, going to concerts, camping, crafting, gardening, and most of all, spending time with friends and her precious family.

Maggie was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer on July 1st, 2019, while she was 21 weeks pregnant with her third child.  She was a fighter, refused to let her cancer diagnosis define her, and blogged her entire story at http://Maggiepregnancycoloncancerstory.home.blog.  Baby Josephine Louise Ayan was born on October 14th, 2020, perfect and healthy even though she went through surgeries, chemotherapy, CT scans, MRI’s and a PET scan while in utero.  Maggie remained hopeful and positive and always seemed to find a glimmer of levity in even her darkest moments . She continued to put others first-especially her children-until the end. Her love of life was inspiring.

Maggie is survived by her husband - Mark Reinholtz, parents – Mitch and Susan (Brunnett) Munson, siblings – Elizabeth “Libby” Munson and Hunter and Catherine “Catie” (Munson) Gallogly, and children – Wyatt, Adeline, and Josephine.
