Margaret May Hilburn Covalt Wilson passed away peacefully on May 13, 2022, at her home in Loveland, Colorado surrounded by her loving family.
She was born March 30, 1929 in Quinter Kansas to Willard and Lula Hilburn.
She married Charles Covalt in 1947. Charles and Margaret lived on a farm near Morland Kansas until October 1962 raising their four children: Sharon, Steve, Christine, and Bud.
They moved to Arvada, Colorado due to Charles’s illness. Margaret provided for her family by ironing and caring for other people’s children while raising her own.
Charles passed in November 1970.
In 1974 she married Roland (Bus) Wilson. She was blessed with 4 Step Children: Nicci, Nedra, Nancy, and Marty. Margaret and Bus moved from Arvada Colorado in 1980 to Parachute, Colorado where they lived together until he passed in 2002.
In 2006 Margaret moved to Loveland, Colorado to be closer to family.
Margaret enjoyed trying new recipes, baking, traveling, camping, jigsaw puzzles, playing cards and Bunco with her friends and family. Margaret also enjoyed gardening, she planted flowers every year and kept her yard looking amazing.
She is Survived by her brothers Keith and Clarence Hilburn and her sister Grace Hartman.
Daughters: Sharon Foster and Christine Marquardt. Sons: Steve Covalt and Bud Covalt.Step Daughter: Nicci Jenkins.
She was blessed with Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Margaret lived an active and healthy 93 years of life.
There will be a Celebration of Life on May 22, 2022.
