Natalie “Nan” Grace (Babler) Jacobson, 41, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep from a seizure on December 8, 2022 at her home in Loveland, Colorado. Nan was born July 9, 1981 in Cuba City, Wisconsin, to Carl and Linda Babler and was welcomed by her loving family. She had a joyful childhood spent on the family farm. Summers and vacations were spent visiting family in New York, spending time in Chicago and Florida. She accepted Jesus into her heart enthusiastically at the age of 4. She loved Sunday school, Vacation Bible School, and her church community was a second family. Nan was creative, artistic and playful throughout her life. Nan graduated from Cuba City High School in 1999 and the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2003.

She met the love of her life Brian Scott Jacobson, while on a church mission trip, and they were married on August 28, 2004 in Platteville, Wisconsin. Together they were blessed with two sons Elliot and Miles and raised them in Shakopee, Minnesota before moving to Loveland, Colorado in 2015. Brian and her boys brought her so much joy, soaking up every moment she could with them. She deeply loved being a wife and mom, these were her proudest accomplishments. Nan and Brian were destined to be together. Being a mom was what she had always prayed for and God gave her Elliot and Miles. Nan treasured staying at home to care for her boys when they were young. She embodied in her daily life the fruit of the spirit; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

Spending quality time with her family and developing many deep friendships came naturally to Nan. She loved simplicity and being in the moment, and cherished the little things in life such as cooking, gardening, reading, walking, playing games, paddle boarding, hiking and biking. She enjoyed exploring all of God’s beautiful creation from the mountains to the beach, and was always ready for travel and adventure. She had many friends from all stages of her life whom she loved dearly.

All these things were important to Nan, but Jesus was the most important relationship she had. She loved Jesus passionately and lived her life for Him. She was truly a reflection of Christ in how she spoke and how she lived. She dedicated so much of her time being involved in small groups, Bible studies and serving at her church and in her community.

Nan is survived by her loving husband Brian and wonderful sons Elliot and Miles. She is also survived by her parents Carl and Linda (Duntze) Babler, siblings Will & Karen (Kuhle) Babler, Allie (Babler) & Ryan Reveley, Wes & Stephanie (Erb) Babler, father & mother-in-law Scott & Debra (Jack) Jacobson of Rochester, MN and Brian’s siblings Keri Jacobson and Sean Jacobson. She loved her nieces and nephews Brendon, Kiley, Caedmon, Mason, Shepherd, Elise, Rex, Hadley and two special nephews on the way. She is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and her Grandparents Thomas & Lori Duntze.

Nan is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Phyllis (Tucker) Duntze, her paternal grandparents Ralph and Maxine (Brooker) Babler and her nephew Anthony (Jacobson) Reid.
