Amada hija, hermana, nieta y querida amiga, Natalie Palacios Mendoza se ha unido con los Ángeles en el Cielo. Perdio la vida en las primeras horas en la mañana del jueves 15 de febrero de 2024 cuando ella y dos de sus amigos cercanos sufrieron un choque.
Natalie nació en McKee Medical Center en Loveland, Colorado, el 16 de octubre de 2004, hija de Edna Mendoza y Alejandro Palacios. Juntos, Edna y Alejandro tuvieron a Natalie y otra hija, Aimie. Fueron criados en una hermosa familia mestiza con cuatro medios hermanos y dos hermanastros. La familia de Natalie permaneció en Loveland hasta que ella cumplió seis años antes de mudarse a Fort Collins. Natalie asistió a las escuelas de Fort Collins hasta el grado 10 y despues se movio a Severance para continuar sus estudios aunque dejó la escuela poco antes de graduarse. Ella había querido comenzar su vida como adulta y trabajaba como cocinera y lavaplatos en el restaurante mexicano Los Chingones.
Natalie era una persona muy cariñosa, amable y atenta. Era muy respetuosa con los demás y además era un espíritu libre, con ganas de abrirse camino en la vida. Le encantaba salir de casa y ir de compras o simplemente ir a cualquier parte. No importaba dónde. Le encantaba vagar libremente con sus amigos y familiares. Le gustaba ir al cine y relajarse con sus amigos. Su hermana, Aimie, era su mejor amiga. Más que cualquier otra cosa, a Natalie le encantaba pasar tiempo con su hermana; habría hecho cualquier cosa por ella.
Antes de que la vida de Natalie llegara derepente a su fin, ella estaba muy feliz y contenta. Se había mudado a su propio apartamento con su amiga Sydney apenas dos meses antes de su fallecimiento. Tenía tantos planes. Esperaba comprar un auto nuevo y viajar a México y Florida, así como a muchos otros lugares. Ella realmente estaba viviendo su vida al máximo mientras tenía la oportunidad.
Natalie era un alma brillante y hermosa. Estaba llena de luz y amor. Ella tenía sólo 19 años. Su vida apenas comenzaba cuando terminó trágicamente demasiado pronto. Su familia, amigos y todos aquellos que la conocieron y amaron no olvidarán su hermosa sonrisa, su corazón bondadoso y su espíritu solidario.
Natalie seguirá viviendo en los corazones y recuerdos de todos aquellos que la amaron. Deja atrás una familia que la ama muchísimo, su madre Edna Mendoza, su padre Alejandro Palacios, su padrastro Alejandro Rodríguez y su madrastra María Valdez; su querida hermana y mejor amiga Aimie Palacios Mendoza; los medios hermanos Jorge Palacios, Alejandro Palacios, Giovanny Palacios y Jayden Rodríguez; y sus hermanastros Roxanna Perez y Aiden York. También la extrañará su abuela Cuca Márquez, sus primos Eduardo Ortega y Destiny Rodríguez y sus queridos amigos, Mileydi Galaviz, Sydney Goetsch y Javier Reyes. Sus mejores amigas Alexsandra Fragoso y Jackie Galván murieron en el mismo accidente que le quitó la vida a Natalie.
Se rezará el Rosario por Natalie el viernes 23 de febrero de 2024 a las 9 am en la Iglesia Católica Holy Family en Fort Collins, donde Natalie fue bautizada y tuvo su Primera Comunión. Su misa de funeral se llevará a cabo a las 10 a. m. y seguirá una celebración de la vida de Natalie. Su familia pide que Natalie, Alexsandra y Jackie y sus familias permanezcan en sus oraciones diarias.

Beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, and dear friend, Natalie Palacios Mendoza has joined the Angels in Heaven. Her life was taken in the early morning hours on Thursday, February 15th, 2024 when she and two of her close friends were in a fatal car accident.
Natalie was born at McKee Medical Center in Loveland, Colorado on October 16th, 2004 to Edna Mendoza and Alejandro Palacios. Together, Edna and Alejandro had Natalie and another daughter, Aimie. They were raised in a beautiful blended family with four halfsiblings and two stepsiblings. Natalie’s family remained in Loveland until she was six years old before moving to Fort Collins. Natalie attended Fort Collins schools through 10th grade, then came to Severance to finish Highschool, though she left school shortly before graduation. She had wanted to begin her life as an adult and was working as a cook and a dishwasher at Los Chingones Mexican Restaurant.
Natalie was a very loving, kind and caring person. She was very respectful of others and was also a free spirit, wanting to make her way in life. She loved to get out of the house and go shopping or just go anywhere. It didn’t matter where. She loved to roam freely with her friends and family. She liked to go to the movies and chill with her friends. Her sister, Aimie, was her very best friend. More than anything else, Natalie loved to spend time with her sister would have done anything for her.
Before Natalie’s life was suddenly brought to an end, she was so happy and content. She had moved into her own apartment with her friend, Sydney Goetsch, just two months prior to her passing. She had so many plans. She hoped to buy a new car and travel to Mexico, and Florida, as well as many other places. She was truly living her life to the fullest while she had the opportunity.
Natalie was a bright and beautiful soul. She was full of light and love. She was only 19 years old. Her life was just beginning when it tragically ended much too soon. Her family, friends, and all those who knew and loved her will not soon forget her beautiful smile, gracious heart, and caring spirit.
Natalie will continue to live on in the hearts and memories of all those who loved her. She leaves behind a family that loves her dearly and includes her mother Edna Mendoza, father Alejandro Palacios, stepfather Alejandro Rodriguez, and stepmother Maria Valdez; her dear sister and best friend Aimie Palacios Mendoza; halfsiblings Jorge Palacios, Alejandro Palacios, Giovanny Palacios, and Jayden Rodriguez; and stepsiblings Roxanna Perez and Aiden York. She will also be missed by her grandmother Cuca Marquez, cousins Eduardo Ortega and Destiny Rodriguez and dearest friends, Mileydi Galaviz, Sydney Goetsch, and Javier Reyes. Her best friends Alexsandra Fragoso and Jackie Galvan died in the same accident that took Natalie’s life.
The Rosary will be prayed for Natalie on Friday, February 23rd, 2024 at 9am at Holy Family Catholic Church in Fort Collins, where Natalie was baptized and had her First Communion. Her Funeral Mass will take place at 10am and a Celebration of Natalie’s Life will follow. Her family asks that Natalie, Alexsandra, and Jackie and their families remain in your daily prayers.
