June 27, 1951 - April 2, 2021

Pam Edinger was born in Denver, Colorado on June 27, 1951. She passed away peacefully on Good Friday, April 2, 2021, at home in Westminster, Colorado surrounded by her family who will continue her legacy.

Pam never let her autoimmune disease – which led to a double lung transplant – get in the way of her fierce dedication to her family and community. She focused on creating meaningful moments and connections and was an inspiration to all those she met. Much of her approach was embodied in this quote from Thomas Merton which meant a great deal to her.

‘You do not need to know precisely what is happening or exactly where it is all going. What you need is to recognize the possibilities and the challenges offered by the present moment and to embrace them with courage, faith and hope.’

She spent her life helping others improve theirs. Upon graduating from the University of Denver with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and a M.A. at the University of Northern Colorado in Special Education, she dedicated her career to increasing inclusivity and integration of children with disabilities into general education classrooms. After retiring as a school district administrator, she taught herself brail in order to obtain her Visually Impaired Teacher Certification to help students with visual impairments.

She loved animals, wildflowers in the mountains and above all her family. She is survived by her husband David Edinger, her daughters Amy Stuber (Tim) and Whitney Vuchetich (Ryan), her son, Dave Aglar (Sarah), brother Kirk Norlin and sister Deb Norlin, and four grandchildren, Rory and Chance Stuber, and Mary and Sarah Aglar.
