May 14, 1972 - March 23, 2023

Paul "Bones" Hamm of Loveland CO, age 50 passed away very peacefully on Thursday March 23, 2023 after bravely and courageously fighting diabetes and kidney disease and succumbing to a stroke. Paul was born to Wilma (Gates) Harville and Kenneth Hamm in Torrance California.  

Paul grew up in and graduated in California and became a Master Mechanic then worked in the oil and gas industry becoming a Hot Tap expert in this area. Paul moved to Colorado in 2007. Paul traveled a lot for work and worked all over the country but he would say his best adventure was when he worked in Alaska. 

Paul met his fiancée Monique Hopkins in 2015 and in their 8 years together they were very rarely apart. Paul is survived by his Step Father Dennis Harville, Christian Hopkins who he raised as his own, step children Michael Cox, Samantha (David) Belvins, Granddaughter Rainie Belvins, Sister Cindy (David) Hanken, Nieces: Shaylynn Meyer and Dani Haken, Nephews: Kai Meyer, Kason Meyer and Guy Hanken and two biological children: Marilyn Hamm and Titus Hamm. Cousins: Joey (Amy) Gates, Rocky Gates and many other Cousins. Paul is preceded in death by his Mother Wilma Harville, Uncle Doyle Gates and Grandparents Guy and Kathryn Gates. 

"Bones" was part of the High Plains Drifters MC who became a second family to him and Monique. Paul was also an avid pool player and has gone to Vegas for many tournaments and also loved to bowl and even had a perfect 300 game. Paul loved working on and restoring motorcycles, working on cars, making different items out of leather and powder coating.

Paul will be remembered for having a big heart and helping anyone he could. Funeral services for Paul will be on April 1, 2023 @ 1pm at the Kibbey Fishburn Funeral Home (1102 N Lincoln, Loveland) with a reception following services at Charlie L's Pub (271 14th St SE in Loveland) where Paul and Monique met and became a special place to them. In lieu of flowers we ask for you to make a donation in Paul "Bones" Hamm's name to American Diabetes Association or American Kidney Fund or Children's Hospital Colorado Kidney Transplant.
