August 12, 1924 - November 3, 2023

Pauline Warner, devoted wife, and mother, passed away peacefully at the age of 99 at Pathways of Northern Colorado Hospice on November 3, 2023. She was born on August 12, 1924, in Oakfield, NY to Charles Miller and Theresa (McGrath) Miller.

Pauline married Robert (Bob) H. Warner on April 11, 1942, and was blessed with two children, Mary Ann and Robert (Bobby). Pauline and Bob were members of the National Campers and Hikers Association, and they enjoyed camping and boating with family and friends for many, many years in the Adirondack Mountains.

Pauline was an avid member of the First United Methodist Church in Batavia, NY, where she taught Sunday School for first and second graders for 30 years. She and Bob were members of the Ingraham Sunday School Class, and she was also a member of one of the women’s church circles. She loved to make ceramics and made many beautiful and memorable pieces throughout her life that she lovingly gave away as gifts. Pauline enjoyed doing crafts and eagerly volunteered her talents for church and charitable events.

Pauline worked as a bookkeeper for Agway in Batavia, NY for 25 years before retiring and moving with Bob to Loveland Colorado in 1986. There, she joined a bowling league and did volunteer work at McKee Medical Center in Loveland. She was also a member of the Mountain View Presbyterian Church.

Pauline is preceded in death by her husband Robert, and eight brothers and one sister. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Les and Mary Ann Keeney of Loveland, Colorado, her son Robert (Pat) Warner of Clay Springs, Arizona, four grandchildren, Sheri Castillo of Arizona, Cami (Terje) Whitmore of Colorado, Jan Akers of Ohio, and Mike (Cathy) Warner of Arizona; two step grandchildren, Tim (Coco) Kriese of Arizona, Shelly (Codi) Schaffer of Arizona; 9 great-grandchildren, Matt (Martha) Kruger of Arizona, Brian (Eric) Devous of Arizona, Shay (Michael) Copelin of Colorado, Gavin, Alex, and Audrey Akers of Ohio, Trey and Max Beegle of Colorado, Kylee Warner of Arizona, four step-great-grandchildren, Walter (Dawn) Kriese of Arizona, Dan (Shelby) Kriese of Arizona, Justin (Katy) Schaffer, and Bryce Schaffer of Arizona, along with three great-great grandchildren, MacKenzie Kruger of Arizona, and Stephen and Robert Copelin of Colorado.

Pauline was a friend to everyone she met. She was loved by all who knew her, and she could find good in everyone. She had an infinite amount of patience, and nothing brought her greater joy than to have her family around her, especially for the holidays. She took an almost child-like delight in Christmas, and even into her 90’s she still insisted on having all her Christmas decorations displayed and her lights put up outside for Christmas.

There are not enough words to adequately describe this wonderful woman and the deep loss that is felt for those left behind. She was the first to call and check in with someone who was having a hard time, the first to volunteer to make a meal for someone who was sick or injured, and the first to sign up for any help that the church needed. She was never too busy to listen to someone’s problems, put a band aid on a scaped knee, or play endless games of Skip Bo or Yahtzee with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a deep faith that never waivered and she encouraged others to always believe and have faith too. It is her enduring faith that brings comfort to her family. While they mourn her loss, they rejoice in the knowledge that she is in heaven and is at peace.

Visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home with a Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will take place at Loveland Burial Park.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Mountain View Presbyterian Church in care of Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home.
