  Peggy was a very positive upbeat person who when there was a crisis seemed to always be there to help.

   Peggy loved sewing and the outdoors. She enjoyed mowing the grass and taking care of her flowers. She also loved her music and wrote a few songs. Her favorite song was “The Rocks Cried Out”. One of Peggy’s letter of recommendation stated “that Peggy is definitely a take charge person”. She is highly known respected and has a wonderful sense of humor.

   Peggy was very involved in community activities. She was a 4H leader, graduate of the Loveland Police Academy, supervisor Larimer County Elections. Volunteered at the House of Neighborly Service. She was involved with the barrier awareness days and the Larimer County fair. She was also support staff for the Rocky Mountain Lions (Blind baseball team).

   Peggy was fluent in Spanish and sign language. She spent time with the deaf community along with the blind community. Peggy was an upcycler. She loved going to garage sales, thrift stores, market place and craigslist.

   Peggy loved her little dog (Ms. Stella J). Stella J was always by Peggy’s side and helped give Peggy comfort over the last 2 years.

Peggy, Don and three other people traveled the county as a show group. Performing blues, pop, rock, folk and nostagia for night clubs, tv, radio, rodeos, convention, kids camps, resorts, etc. Peggy and the family were a music group named “Chariot of Praise”. They traveled around thru multiple states singing country, gospel and Christian music.

   Peggy was preceded in death by her father (Homer Stockwell), mother (Thelma Stockwell), grandparents (Parson and Rebecca Stockwell) and (Bertha and James Hastings).  Peggy is survived by her sisters (Dot Clapp) and (Sue Ogier) of Tennessee. Husband (Don Kincaid), Ms. Stella J & Mackenzie (beloved dogs), two daughters (Kelli J. Calderon) and (Shannon Benitez) along with a son-in law (Christopher Calderon). Her grandsons (Nathaniel Benitez) and (Malachi “Ki” J. Calderon)

   Peggy had some sayings that she loved to say:

   This is not goodbye, I’ll see you again. Keep the faith!

   KEOJ-Keep eyes on Jesus

   Thanks for being my husband, dog, daughter and sister.

   Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 8th at Crossroads Church in Loveland.
