Robert (Bob) William Worsley (74) born November 18, 1948, died December 5, 2022. Preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Katherine Worsley.  He is survived by his wife Mary of 48 years, his daughters Katherine Worsley (Leo Rivera), Bettina Worsley (Paul Hofsetz), his grandchildren, Gloria, Estevan, Jesus, and Elise, his five siblings, Patricia Hill, Katherine Cunico, Joseph Worsley, Nancy Roberts, and Paul Worsley.

Bob was born in Ottawa, Ill. Baptized in St. Patrick’s Church by Father Edward Duke. He attended St. Columba Catholic School, Marquette high School and gradated from St. Agnes High School in Springfield, Missouri and then graduated from DeVry Institute of Technology with an associates degree in electronics.

He entered the US Army in 1970 and served as a combat engineer in the 3rd Armor Division, 23rd Engineers. He was honorably discharged as a sergeant in 1973.

He and Mary were married on 04/20/1974 in St. Columba Church. They moved to Broomfield, Colorado in 1975. Bob worked in a variety of fields. His longest tenures were with StorageTek in Product Software testing and for the United States Postal Service.

He was a 32-year member of the American Legion and served in several leadership roles. He was passionate when it came to patriotism and proudly wore a military-related ballcap that displayed a poppy. You knew where he lived because the American Flag and the POW-MIA Flag flew every day. He was an animal lover who loved and doted on his three grand-dogs, Dixie, Kronos, and Lucas. He is preceded in death by his four-legged BFF Rita Hayworth, in June of 2022, and was greeted with a kiss when they met again. Bob was an avid fisherman. He loved visiting with new and old friends, while enjoying a PBR in a well-worn koozie while wearing a flannel.
