Ruth Marie Brashar was born April 22, 1938 to Verne J. Brashar and Edith Naomi Brashar in Rock Island, Illinois. Ruth was an only child.

Ruth was raised in a strict household; her mother was a devout Christin lady and took Ruth to church every time the doors were open. Ruth was raised in the Nazarene church as a young girl and it was there she made a lifelong friend, Leona Sebben, they remained friends til Leona’s death in 2017.

Ruth married at a young age and had two girls, Debbie and Melissa, many years later she divorced. Ruth and the girls came to Walsh, Colorado to visit some long-time friends and was talked into staying and working in Dr. Gonzales chiropractic office. It was there that she met Ralph Pearce, her surviving husband. After dating for about a year Ralph and Ruth married on August 5, 1972. To this union was born Manda (Smith).

Ruth was a quiet, private person until she got to know you, then she would open up and become a very committed friend. She loved life and was always ready to get together with family and friends, Ruth enjoyed being a homemaker and caring for her family.

Ruth started working in daycare at Aurora Faith Tabernacle where Ralph and Ruth raised their family.

Ralph and Ruth traveled to Illinois every summer to visit her parents and relatives and vacation some and ride the boats on the Mississippi river. They traveled to Branson, MO many times over the years, in fact 10 times and enjoyed entertainment there.

In more recent years Ralph and Ruth enjoyed going to the White Fence Farm where they enjoyed the music and an occasional dance (slow of course). They established many friendships there and were very disappointed when they closed their doors.

Ruth will be sadly missed by her family and many friends, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
