February 16, 1944 - July 29, 2022
On Thursday July 29, 2022 Sheena Clymer Hanson left this painful and confusing world at the age of 78 after a long battle with Parkinson’s and Cancer. Sheena can now fly with the angels and the butterflies.
Sheena was born in California and moved to Loveland CO at a very young age where she spent a large part of her life. Sheena loved these beautiful mountains almost as much as her father did and found it hard to leave when she did.
She was blessed to have many career paths in her lifetime from Fashion Buyer to Practice Manager of a Veterinary Specialty Practice.
Sheena moved to Memphis TN about 30 years ago and it was during this time she found her greatest professional joy. Sheena began working with various dog rescues. She worked for Memphis Veterinary Specialists as the Practice Manager for sixteen years where she could continue her love of animals.
Sheena spent much of the last ten years making wonderful memories with her daughter granddaughter and great grandchildren. They sometimes were accused of being up to shenanigans again, but they were all blessings. Sheena loved them all so much.
Sheena was preceded in death by her parents Marlin and Betty Clymer and her sister Tanya Rich of Loveland CO and grandson Kurt and granddaughter Gracie.
Sheena is survived by her daughter Shelley Baty of Loveland CO, son Shawn McDonnell of Rockport, TX, Granddaughter Nikki McNear and husband John who blessed her with her great grandchildren Devon, Hailey, Abby and Mason McNear.
Cremation has been performed and there will be a private family service.
