November 11, 1988 - December 11, 2022

Taylor Marie (Meske) Gibson was born on November 11, 1988 to very proud parents, Sandy and Daryl, and adoring older siblings, Josh and Nicole, in Lexington, Kentucky. She was baptized on Christmas Eve that same year and was confirmed in her faith in 2003. Taylor grew up in a family that loved her very much. She was a gentle, quirky, serious, stubborn, creative, beautiful and fiercely loyal person. Some of Taylor’s favorite roles were daughter, sister, cousin, friend, aunt, and dog-mom.

After Kentucky, Taylor lived in Michigan and her family finally settled in Broomfield, Colorado in 1992. She attended several Broomfield area schools during her childhood, as school was not something she cared for at the time and graduated from Legacy High School in 2007 after a hard-fought battle with an online P.E. class. Taylor was a beautiful writer and played piano and violin growing up. Taylor’s teachers adored her, even though she could often take them or leave them.

Taylor had an angelic voice and a keen ability to harmonize with any melody, gifts which she only shared when she wanted to, and mostly only in the car. Taylor was a gorgeous dancer and was most herself when she was dancing. She loved her dance community and taught dance as well. When Taylor expressed herself through dance, she shared vulnerability in a way that touched her family’s hearts. She hated the spotlight that came with dance but thrived in the community of dancers that became her family. Taylor also studied Spanish, ASL and Italian during her lifetime. Besides these accomplishments, Taylor was gifted at many things including cooking, doing make-up and hair, being a friend and sister, and making the most incredible lattes. This list is not exhaustive.

Taylor held many jobs and was a valuable asset to every team she worked with. She was promoted to manager in almost every job she did from ink! Coffee, Spice of Life catering, Digital Globe to dj Maestro, where she was a pillar and creative force. Taylor made friends everywhere, from her neighborhoods to her workplaces. Taylor maintained lifelong friendships with many friends. Taylor loved and was beloved by cousins on both sides of her family and had many memories with them.

Taylor was married in 2015 in a beautiful ceremony which she spent many hours carefully planning. Her wedding was a very happy day for her. Taylor loved setting up her home and being a wife during that time. Taylor had recently bought her own condominium in Longmont where she lived her last days with her fur-son and companion, Jack.

Taylor’s earthly light has gone out, but it still illuminates the hearts of those who loved her. She went to rest in the arms of Jesus on Sunday, December 11, one month after her 34th birthday. To say she will be missed doesn’t express her family and friend’s sentiments. Taylor joins her paternal and maternal grandparents in eternal rest and leaves behind her parents, her siblings and their partners who loved her, her beloved nieces and nephew and many, many other friends and family. We cannot wait to see her again in Heaven and will hold our memories of her close to our hearts until then.
