MAY 27, 1928 – NOVEMBER 12, 2020

Tony E. Garcia was born on May 27, 1928 in Wagonmound, New Mexico to Juan and Fidelia Garcia. He was one of twelve children and married Dolores Bustos on June 18, 1955. Together they had two daughters Rose and Kathy, three granddaughters Jana (Jerome), Sonora (Bradley), Sierra (Chris) and seven great grandchildren; Dominic, David, Desiree, Riley, Wyatt, Addy and Avah. He is survived by two brothers Edward and Andy and four sisters; Irene, Theresa, Henrietta and Stella.

Tony served in the Army stationed in Korea and was a construction worker for the labor Union 720 for 30 years. He was a whole - hearted Bronco, Nuggets and Rockies fan, but only when they won. He enjoyed traveling, gambling, fishing and his weekly trips to the dollar store. Religion was important to him and he was always praying for his family and friends. Tony was a dedicated Veteran who proudly wore his military hat everywhere he went and was often thanked for his service. He was a larger than life person and left a huge impact on his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by so many but know he is in Heaven looking down on all of us.

We would like to thank Dr. Roesch and all the hospital staff with the 5th floor medical unit at PVH and Accent Care - Hospice for all the special care and support they gave Tony and our family. A private family graveside service will be held.
