Longmont United Hospital, or LUH, is here to care for you.
It is my honor to serve as Chairman of the Board of Longmont United Hospital. I was born at LUH and all three of my children were as well. I want the community to know that consistent with our mission, we care for all patients who need health care, whether they present with COVID-19 symptoms or other medical conditions in our hospital and other care settings, and care is not determined based on geography, ability to pay, gender, race, orientation, medical condition, or citizenship.
In 2015, LUH entered into an agreement with Centura Health which strengthened and ensured that our hospital would be able improve the health of the community for generations to come. I cannot imagine what dire straits LUH would be in today if it were not for the support and strength of the Centura System. That being said, our agreement allows your friends, neighbors, and colleagues, like myself, to serve on LUH’s board to ensure our specific community needs are being met.
With the COVID-19 pandemic, our system has been tested and strained, but LUH through its amazing staff is confident that it can treat those with COVID-19 as well as any other medical condition with the same level of compassion as Longmont and the surrounding towns and counties have come to expect.
Again, we do not care who you are, what you have done in life, where you are from or even if you cannot pay. We will care for you and your family.
