This is appalling. If true that one of the only two elevators has been out of service for some time, why weren't bylaw officers notified and engaged?
Why were actions or possible litigation not put in ace long ago?
Should a senior in need of assistance pass away, what actions can be taken against the owners?
I would suggest ALL tenants should withhold rent payment until such time hat these elevators are repaired. Another case of greedy money hungry owners who have no conscience or care towards its paying tenants. Won't even go on the record as to why BOTH elevators were allowed to be in such disrepair. Shame, shame, shame..

Congratulations to the Sudbury Five on their league championship. Well done.
Now if only the Wolves could do the same next season

Hey Ian, you have time to post this but zero time to attend local debates or take media questions.
Your post is totally void of anything you will do for Sudbury residents if elected. What is "your" plan for Sudbury?
PS Even post pandemic, I feel I'm better off than 5 yrs ago. But still waiting for you to come knock on my door.

The article by the author you attack includes a video link to the full event for all to view. Guess you didn't notice that!
Conservatives don't get a fair shake in reporting in Sudbury? Look up who owns the Sudbury Star. Opps, never mind, even they can't get access to Conservative candidates.

It is quite "disturbing" that the leader of the Conservative party refuses to allow media questions as he campaigns for our votes and to be leader of our country. He also won't allow media on his campaign tour bus or airplane, unlike the other party leaders
Even " more disturbing" is that our local Conservative candidates refuse to respond to localmedia requests for interviews or Q and A and combined have attended but one or two local debates. Very Trump like and Republican style indeed.
So is the fear mongering PP spews out at each and every one of his controlled stops along the campaign trail. Enough with the doom and gloom. We need a Prime Minister who unites the country, not a divisive negative voice. We get enough of that from our "former ally" and neighbours to the south.
Can't imagine the "control" the party would impose upon us all if elected.

This is wonderful news. Kudos to Burgess for this move. Looking forward to its opening. Parking could be an issue unless tear down sections offer enough parking.
And how much longer do we have to wait for Panoramic to tear down the old hospital. All lip service for over a decade.

Conservative candidates were told centrally not to partake in debates.
And Poilievre refused to have the media travel with his entourage both by bis and via air.
What are the conservatives afraid of?
Having to answer real questions instead of just doing the same Trump like scripted attacks and doom and gloom messaging.
Thank you to the other party candidates for partaking.

Looking at comments, people need to read CAREFULLY. Yes it would have been a PD day and thus students would not report to schools. But it is also a Board wide closure, thus all schools and Board offices are closed to ALL STAFF as well.
And the sun just came out as I type this. Careful driving.
