What the 2021-2022 school year will look like nobody knows, but now is the time for families to choose which school their child will attend through open enrollment.

Open enrollment in St. Vrain Valley School District is an opportunity for students to attend the school of their choice even if it isn’t their neighborhood school.

Applications are only required for students requesting enrollment at a school outside of their attendance area or who do not live within the district boundaries, according to a letter sent Thursday to parents.

SVVSD offers “a wide-range of rigorous academic focus programs that give your student a choice in selecting a school that best aligns with their interests,” its website states.

Open enrollment is fully online this year, allowing families to apply for multiple students at the same time. Families will need to create an account to apply.

The window to open enroll is Dec. 1-15. The district will notify families via email and the family dashboard by Jan. 18. The deadline to accept the open enrollment offer is Feb. 1, according to the letter to parents.

For additional information or questions, families can contact the SVVSD enrollment team at303-702-7908. For those seeking assistance with technology, the district encourages families to contact the main office of the school their student wishes to attend.
