Jessica Gale Shoemake disappeared seventeen years ago last month in Arvada.

Shoemake’s mother was the last person she spoke to before she went missing from Arvada in March 2005, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation’s Cold Case Files website

The last interaction Shoemake had before she went missing occurred when she called her mother from Denver City Jail after being arrested. During the phone call, Shoemake asked her mother to post her bond. Her mother did not post Shoemake’s bond.

Instead, a follow up investigation by police into Shoemake’s disappearance revealed that a male suspect named Philip Deegan placed the bond that released her from jail. Shoemake has not been seen since.

When Shoemake went missing, her mother informed police of her suspicion that Shoemake may have traveled to Las Vegas following her release from jail. However, she has not been seen since.

Shoemake was 22-years-old at the time of her disappearance.

She is a white woman with blue eyes and brown hair. She was 5’4” and weighed 100 pounds when she went missing.

Shoemake has been known to abuse drugs and has a health condition which requires regular medication, according to the details of her case.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact the Arvada Police Department at 720-898-6900.
