A fire was reported in the 1500 block of E Third Ave. around 3:50 a.m. on Wednesday. One side of duplex was fully engulfed in fire when first responders arrived.
Firefighters were able to stop the fire before it spread to the adjacent unit, a report from Longmont Public Safety stated.
The fire is still under investigation. At this time the cause is unknown.
The fire department reported that its officers did not receive any injuries.
