The Longmont Police Department was contacted by a bystander around 7:30 a.m. Thursday. The bystander reported two men fighting at a bus stop in the 2100 block of Miller Dr., on the south side of the Front Range Community College campus.

The bystander also said they were following one of the men — who had left the area. This man was later determined to be a suspect in the case.

The other man was transported to a local hospital where he died due to his injuries.

The suspect was arrested.

This case is under investigation, the Longmont Police Department stated. They suspect that the crime was not random, according to a social media post by the department.
