The Longmont Fire Department responded to a fire on Friday in the 1800 block of Coffman St.
The fire crew discovered a fire coming from the back of a two-story home in the Prospect neighborhood, according to Communications Manager, Robin Ericson.
A carriage home at the rear of the property sustained most of the damage but some was also found on the exterior of the main house.
Longmont Fire crews extinguished the fire and cleaned up the hot spots, according to Ericson.
The Longmont Fire Department is conducting an investigation but no foul play is suspected.
