Update: Longmont Deputy Chief of Police, Jeff Satur, called The Leader around 7:30 p.m. He stated that due to a lack of evidence that the suspect was at the residence in the 1400 block of Meeker Dr., police "are withdrawing from the situation."

Police will continue efforts to find the suspect as more information becomes available, Satur said.

Longmont Police Officers and the Longmont SWAT team have responded to a possible barricade in the 1400 block of Meeker Dr.

The man, whose name has yet to be released, is suspected to have multiple warrants, according to Jeff Satur, deputy chief of police.

Currently, the police do not have additional information.

Satur said police are working the problem and following police protocols.

He added that residents in the area are recording and posting videos of the incident to the internet, "which isn't always helpful to the situation."
