THEFT 

On Aug. 9, 2020 Longmont police took a report of theft from a business in the 1300 block of Dry Creek Drive. A woman allegedly stole a luggage cart from an area hotel. This case is open until officers can locate and issue a summons to the suspect.

VICIOUS DOG 

A Longmont woman on Aug. 9 was bitten by a neighbor's loose dog in the 1700 block of Jewel Street. The dog was placed on home quarantine and the owner was issued a summons.

THEFT 

On Aug. 9, police responded to the 2200 block of Ridgeview Way in reference to a theft. Information was obtained and a report was completed.

WARRANT ARREST 

On Aug. 9 around 1640 hours, Longmont police responded to the 1100 block of Main Street on a report of shoplifting involving a man and woman. A man was taken into custody on a warrant.

AUTO THEFT 

On Aug. 9, police took a report of auto theft in the 2000 block of Main Street. A man was spoken to and a report completed.

CHILD 

On Aug. 7, officers responded to the 600 block of 17th Avenue for a child-related call. A child's parents had not arrived to pick up the child. Officers were able to get in touch with the child's father and he arrived shortly after to pick up his son. There were no charges filed, however, a report was taken.

DRUG VIOLATION 

On Aug. 8 at approximately 1107 hours, officers responded to a report of possession of drugs in the 1700 block of Sumner Street. A man issued a summons on drug possession charges.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION 

On Aug. 8, officers responded to the area of 15th Avenue and Kimbark Street in reference to a possible menacing with a knife. It was reported that a man pulled a knife on another man when he was confronted trying to tag a wall. The victim did not feel frightened by the gesture. The suspect was taken into custody on other charges without incident.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

On Aug. 7 at 2259 hours, an officer was made aware of a domestic violence-related incident that happened last year in the 1300 block of Vivian Street.

MENACING 

On Aug. 8 at approximately 2307 hours, police responded to the 1200 block South Hover Street in relation to disturbance, later determined to be menacing. At this time there is not enough evidence to proceed with charges.

WARRANT ARREST 

On Aug. 9, police responded to a business in the 1300 block of Sherman Drive on a report of a man exposing himself to multiple people. The man was contacted and later transported to the Boulder County Jail. Case cleared by arrest.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS 

On Aug. 9, officers responded to the 300 block of Mumford Avenue in reference to a cold vehicle break-in.  A man reported someone had smashed his window with a rock and stole his paddleboard from the car. There are no suspects in this case.

SHOPLIFT 

On Aug. 9 at 1115 hours, an officer responded to the Circle K at 680 Frontage Road on a report of a theft. A man stole $14.94 worth of merchandise. The suspect was not located. The case is closed.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

On Aug. 9, Longmont officers responded to South Pratt Parkway and Boston Avenue on a domestic incident. Case open.
