On 02/13/2024 at approximately 0044 hours, Longmont Police heard shots fired in the area of 461 WCR 26. Officers located a vehicle leaving the area. A traffic stop was conducted where an adult male was taken into custody for theft of a stolen firearm, prohibited use of a weapon, and possession of a schedule II substance. Case Cleared by Adult Arrest.
THEFT
On 021324, officers took a report of theft in the 1500 block of Belmont Dr involving an unknown suspect.
CURFEW/JUVI PROBLEM
On Tuesday February 13, 2024 at approximately 1010 hours, officers responded to a juvenile problem in the 4400 block of Clover Basin Dr, in the City of Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado.
FRAUD
On 021324, officers took a report of fraud in the 2400 block of Spencer St involving an unknown suspect.
HARASSMENT
On Tuesday February 13, 2024, Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to the 800 Block of S Terry St in reference to a harassment. Two adult males were contacted.
DISTURBANCE
On Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at about 1312 hours, Longmont Police were dispatched to the 300 block of South Hover Street on a report of a disturbance involving a juvenile female. Upon arrival officers took the female into protective custody and transported her to a hospital. Case closed.
THEFT
On Tuesday February 13, 2024, Longmont Police Officers were dispatched to the 2200 Block of E Ken Pratt in reference to a theft. A male suspect was identified. Case remains open.
PROTECTION ORDER
On 2/13/2024, officers responded to a protection order violation in the 1400 block of Whitehall Drive. A report was taken.
CHILD
On Tuesday, February 13, 2024, Longmont Police responded to the 2700 block of Copper Peak Drive regarding a report of child abuse. An adult female suspect and two juvenile victims were identified. The case is unfounded.

On February 13th 2024, at approxmately 1954 hours Longmont Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Sherman St. regarding a welfare check.
THEFT
On Saturday, February 10, 2024, at approximately 1020 hours, officers responded to the 2500 block of Main Street on the theft of a Samsung cell phone. The phone was located and returned to the owner. Suspects are being identified and the case is open.
OTHER AGENCY ASSIST
Off Duty Longmont Police assisted the University of Colorado Police at the CU Men's basketball game. A student was contacted for throwing an object at the visiting bench. He was contacted and turned over to CUPD who issued him a summons.
VICIOUS DOG
A small dog was bitten by a loose dog in the 1400 block of Whitehall Drive. The loose dog owner was issued a summons.
DEATH
On Monday, February 12th, at approximately 1259 hours, officers of the Longmont Police Department responded to the 1600 block of Iron Horse Dr in reference to a deceased male. Report taken, no suspicious circumstances.
FRAUD
On Monday, 2/12/24, a Longmont, CO resident reported identity theft in the 4500 block of Redmond Drive. This is a courtesy report.
DUI
On 02/12/2023, officers conducted a traffic stop at 19th Avenue & Main Street. The driver was arrested for Driving under the Influence.

On 02/13/2024 at approximately 0807 hours, officers were dispatched to the 500 block of 15th Avenue on the report of a burglary. Officers took a report.

On Tuesday, 02/13/24, a missing person report was taken in the 1000 block of Sunset St. The case was referred to investigations.
