A city employee on Feb. 19 reported a suspicious incident in the 300 block of Kimbark Street.
AUTO THEFT
Officers on Feb. 19 responded to the report of a vehicle stolen from the 700 block of Busch Street. The case is open pending further investigation.
DRUG VIOLATION
On Feb. 19 at approximately 1009 hours, an officer contacted a suspicious vehicle in the 2500 block of Main Street, and a man was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
THEFT
On Feb. 19 at approximately 1230 hours, officers responded to the 1400 block of Baker Street for a theft report. A warrant arrest was made.
PROTECTION ORDER
Police on Feb. 19 took a report of a protection order violation that occurred in September in the 700 block of East Fifth Avenue.
SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF CHILD
Police on Jan. 26 were advised by Broomfield police of a sexual exploitation of a child investigation with ties to Longmont. The investigation is ongoing.
THEFT
An officer on Feb. 11 took a report of a possible burglary in the 1000 block of Sunset Street. Two girls were contacted and referred to parents/school. This case is cleared exceptionally; the victim refused to prosecute.
OTHER AGENCY ASSIST
On Feb. 19 at approximately 0018 hours, officers responded to the Lamplight Inn in reference to a room fire. No one was injured, and an arson investigator responded.
ROBBERY
Police on Feb. 19 responded to the 900 block of Main Street on a cold attempted robbery. The identity of the suspect is unknown at this time.
HARASSMENT
Police on Feb. 19 took a report of a criminal mischief incident in the 800 block of Summer Hawk Drive.
THEFT
A report was taken Feb. 19 in reference to a theft that occurred in the 1900 block of Main Street. The suspects are unknown.
DISTURBANCE
Officers on Feb. 19 responded to a disturbance in the 700 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard. A man and woman were involved in an altercation, but neither wished to press charges.
TRAFFIC STOP
On Feb. 19 at 1440 hours, officers attempted a traffic stop. The vehicle eluded officers.
SEX ASSAULT
On Feb. 19 at about 1526 hours, police took a report of unlawful contact involving a man and woman.
SHOPLIFT
Officers on Feb. 19 responded to the 1600 block of Hover Street in reference to shoplifting.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
On Feb. 19 at 1420 hours, officers responded to the 1400 block of Kay Street in response to a harassment complaint. The suspect was located and arrested.
