On Sunday, July 18, 2021, officers were dispatched to a business in the area of East Ken Pratt and County Road One on a theft. An adult female was contacted and issued a summons for misdemeanor theft. The case is cleared by arrest.
SEX ASSAULT
On 7/19/2021, Longmont police received a report of unlawful sexual contact that occurred 1-2 years ago in the 800 block of Grandview Meadows Dr. This case is under investigation.
PROTECTION ORDER
On July 19, 2021, at 0856 hours. Longmont Police Officers responded to the 1000 block of Hilltop Dr. in the City of longmont, County of Boulder, and State of Colorado on a report of a disturbance. Longmont Emergency Communications (LEC) advised a witness observed a male and female arguing in front of a residence. LEC advised the male had gotten into a black sedan and the female was now trying to break the window on the male's car with a rake. The male and female left the scene in separate cars at a high rate of speed. The case is open.
OTHER AGENCY ASSIST
On Monday, July 19, 2021, officers assisted in taking a subject into custody for the Lakewood Police Department. This occurred in the 800 block of S. Lincoln Street.
PROTECTION ORDER
On Monday, 07/19/2021, police took a report of a protection order violation in the 1400 block of Lamplighter Drive, Longmont, CO. Case is still being investigated.
DISTURBANCE
Officers responded to the 300 block of Ken Pratt Blvd. on a report of a disturbance. Longmont Police Dispatch advised an adult female was at her ex-boyfriend's place of employment with her new boyfriend. The new boyfriend decided to shoot out the back window of the ex-boyfriend's vehicle with a BB gun as they were leaving. The new boyfriend was later interviewed and arrested.
