CHILD 

Officers on Nov. 7 were dispatched to the 2700 Copper Peak Lane for a domestic incident. A man was arrested for child abuse.

TRAFFIC COMPLAINT 

Police on Nov. 8 took a report of road rage in which the suspect followed the victim for several blocks until the victim drove toward the police department and the suspect stopped following. Officers have been unsuccessful in contacting the suspect to investigate further.

FRAUD 

Police on Nov. 8 took a report of a resident who via phone was scammed into providing or changing a phone subscriber PIN number, resulting in her phone number being reassigned and providing eventual access to her bank accounts and the theft of her money. This case is open pending further investigation.

WARRANT ARREST 

Officers on Nov. 8 responded to the 200 block of Main Street in reference to trespassing. A man was arrested on an outside agency warrant.

ASSAULT 

Officers on Nov. 8 took a report of elder abuse in the 2200 block of Pratt Street.

SHOOTING 

On Nov. 8 around 2030 hours, police responded to the 1900 block of Mountain View Avenue for a report of a shooting. 

HIT-AND-RUN ACCIDENT 

On Nov. 3 at approximately 0824 hours, police were dispatched to a hit-and-run crash in the area of South Main Street and Pike Road. The crash was later determined to have occurred near Ken Pratt Boulevard on South Main Street. The case is closed.

ROBBERY 

Officers on Nov. 5 took a report of a man who was knocked off of his bike while riding on the bike path behind the 300 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard. His bike, wallet and cell phone were stolen. The victim sustained major injuries. Video of suspects using the victim's credit cards and dumping his cell phone have been obtained. The case is under investigation.

SHOPLIFT 

On Nov. 7 at approximately 1220 hours, officers were dispatched to a business in the 2500 block of Main Street in reference to a theft in progress. A man was issued a summons.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

Officers on Nov. 7 responded to the 900 block of Rose Street for a domestic violence call.  A woman was taken into custody.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS 

Police on Nov. 8 took a report of a vehicle break-in in the 1600 block of East County Line Road. The suspect entered a vehicle in a parking lot and stole two unsecured firearms. There are no suspects or leads in the case and the firearms have been entered as stolen in a national system.

WELFARE CHECK 

Officers on Nov. 8 responded to a welfare check in the 2000 block of Estes Lane. A boy was taken to a hospital on a protective hold.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS 

Officers on Nov. 8 took a call for service in reference to first-degree criminal trespassing in the 2700 block of Copper Peak Lane. 

DUI 

Officers on Nov. 7 were dispatched to the area of Nelson Road and South Sunset Street on a report of a traffic accident. A man was contacted and later taken into custody for DUI.
