ANIMAL COMPLAINT 

A Longmont woman was bitten by her cat on Oct. 3 in the 1300 block of Coffman Street. The cat is being quarantined at home.

AUTO THEFT 

Police on Oct. 3 took a report of possible auto theft in the 1100 block of Francis Street. 

HIT-AND-RUN ACCIDENT 

Officers on Oct. 3 responded to East 17th Avenue and Lashley Street on a report of a hit-and-run collision involving two vehicles. The vehicle that fled was located but the driver was not. This case is open.

AUTO THEFT 

Police on Oct. 3 took a report of a vehicle stolen from the 1700 block of Harvard Street. 

WELFARE CHECK 

Police and the CORE team on Oct. 3 responded to the 600 block of Longs Peak Avenue for a report of a disoriented woman. The woman was found to be suffering from mental health issues and unknown medical concerns. She was placed into protective custody and transported to a nearby hospital, where she was placed on a mental health hold.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

On Oct. 3 at about 1700 hours, officers were provided a name and number regarding a cold domestic violence incident. Case is under investigation.

ASSAULT 

Officers on Oct. 3 responded to an assault in the 400 block of Kensington Street. A suspect has been identified and the case remains open pending further investigation.

AUTO THEFT 

On June 12, police took a phone report from the 600 block of Timothy Drive regarding a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was recovered shortly after.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS 

Police on Sept. 19 responded to the 2000 block of Meadow Drive on the report of a first-degree criminal trespass. Two vehicles were entered overnight and no items were reported missing.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT 

Evidence for a barking violation was submitted and reviewed on Oct. 2.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 

Police on Oct. 2 took a phone report of a road rage incident that turned into a criminal mischief episode. A female driver of a vehicle threw a full beverage at another woman's vehicle. A suspect has not been identified at this time.

HIT-AND-RUN ACCIDENT 

Officers on Oct. 2 responded to a hit-and-run involving two vehicles in the area of Mountain View Avenue and Coffman Street. Officers located the vehicle that fled, but could not locate the drive. This case is open.

ANIMAL FOLLOW-UP 

On Oct. 2 evidence was provided for an off-leash violation.

VICIOUS DOG 

An owner was bitten by their dog on Oct. 2. The dog was placed on quarantine at home.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT 

On Oct. 2 at approximately 1652 hours, officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Ponderosa Circle in reference to a cold domestic call for service. A 39-year-old man disclosed a previous history of abuse regarding his 39-year-old wife.

WELFARE CHECK 

Officers on Oct. 3 responded to the area of Martin Street and Sixth Avenue in reference to a possible suicide attempt. A juvenile female was contacted and later placed on a mental health hold.

DISTURBANCE 

Police on Oct. 3 responded to the 800 block of Parklane Avenue on the report of a verbal disturbance.

DUI 

Officers on Oct. 3 responded to the area of 21st Avenue and Hover Street on a report of a motorcycle crash. A man was arrested for driving under the influence and several warrants. The case is cleared by arrest.
