The Longmont Police arrested a man who allegedly shot a gun in the 500 block of 15th Avenue.
Several people called the police and reported that several shots were fired in the area. They stated that they saw a white car fleeing the area. Officers later determined that the car was a 2023 BMW.
Reports also stated that the suspect shot "into the air while driving down the alley," according to police. No injuries were reported.
The man was later discovered in the 3200 block of Lake Park Way and was arrested in a high-risk stop by police. He was charged with menacing, reckless endangerment, child abuse and prohibited use of a weapon.
