On Thursday afternoon, the Longmont Police Department, or LPD, took a report of a cold robbery in the area of Lois Place and Collyer Street. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening.

According to an LPD police report, an adult male was cleaning his vehicle when an unknown adult female approached him from behind, put a knife to his torso and demanded cigarettes and money.

When the male failed to produce cigarettes or money, the female took the keys to the male’s vehicle. The victim was able to retrieve his car keys from the suspect after he distracted her by acting like there was someone behind her.

The female has not been identified and LPD has closed this case for lack of suspect information.
