Police seek help in identifying suspect in home invasion, attempted sexual assault

According to police, the man illegally entered a home in the 1600 block of Kimbark Street and fled on foot. A similar incident occurred at the same residence on May 14.

Longmont police are seeking the public’s help to identify a suspect in a home invasion and attempted sexual assault on a child that occurred at 3:45 a.m. Sunday.  

According to police, the man illegally entered a home in the 1600 block of Kimbark Street and fled on foot. The intruder is described as Hispanic, possibly in his 20s, standing 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with short back hair and a heavy build. 

A similar incident occurred at the same residence on May 14, according to police who released a surveillance photo of a masked suspect from that incident.
