A semi-truck and trailer was involved in a collision with a passenger vehicle on Tuesday morning.
The crash happened at the intersection of County Road 1 and Zlaten Drive.
The semi was traveling north on County Road 1 and the passenger car was heading west on Zlaten Drive. The car turned left onto County Road 1 and was struck by the semi causing both vehicles to veer off the road.
The driver of the car — a 26-year-old man from Longmont — suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The semi-truck driver was not injured.
Police are still investigating the case.
