Two Longmont men, Lucas Cole Young (51) and Allen Lane Kruzik (70) were arrested Thursday after members of the Colorado Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force completed an investigation for the sexual exploitation of a child.

The two men lived in the 400 block of Morgan Road in Longmont. On May 30, officers executed a search warrant for the property where they discovered multiple electronic devices and two handguns.

After a forensic investigation, officers found hundreds of files of sexually exploited children on devices owned by Young, who had a prior conviction for the offense. The handguns belonged to Kruzik who was previously convicted as a felon.

Young was arrested and charged with 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a child which are class 4 felonies and a charge of being a habitual sexual offender against children. Young is being held without bond.

Kruzik faces charges of possessing a weapon which is a class 5 felony. His bond was set to $1,500.
